A Special Note to the Kaleidoscope Color Scheme Competition Contestants
Please note that version 1 of Designer’s Studio has a few limitations that you may want to go around. At this time there is no PICT editor nor are there previews of the Vanity Plate or the About Box that are part of the Kaleidoscope control panel. Until the release of version 1.0.1 you will have to edit these features in a different resource editor. These resources are however edited by the Hue, Saturation and Brightness controls, so be careful.
You will note that a color scheme created with the New command in Designer’s Studio will have a “Created with Designer’s Studio” logo in both the Vanity and the About Box.
To edit these we recommend that you use ResEdit. For those of you not familiar with this application and the process involved we highly recommend you read The Kaleidoscope Scheme Editing Primer by James LeDuc. This can be found on the internet at:
